Shipping Practices and Delivery Policy

Shipping and Delivery Policy: We deliver products World wide using Australia Post. Shipping costs are as follows: domestic flat rate of $6.95, domestic registered $14.95, domestic express flat rate $9.95 international flat rate $15, international registered $24.95, international express flat rate $49.95. This cost will be calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout. Orders are dispatched within 2 business days. Domestic shipping times are estimated at between 3-7 business days depending on your location within Australia (please note these are estimates). International shipping times are estimated at between 7-14days. Shipping Destinations: Zinc Pty Ltd ships goods world wide.


Transaction Currency

Pricing Policy: All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax) as of 15.06.2011. Product prices are regularly updated when price changes are received from our suppliers.


Shipping Costs

Domestic flat rate of $6.95, domestic registered $14.95, domestic exoress post $9.95, international flat rate $14.95, international registered post flat rate of $24.95, international express flat rate $49.95. These prices are for every order regardless of quantity.

Customer Service Policy

Zinc is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavour to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If you cancel it we will issue a full refund. Standard delivery timeframes are between 3-5 business days; in the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfill your order we will notify you within 1 business day to arrange an immediate refund, a back order or an agreeable alternative item.


Refund Policy

Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described, are different to the product purchased on the website or don’t perform as advertised.

Zinc is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information we collect in relation to you is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on, sell or swap any of your personal details with anyone. We use this information to identify your orders, provide you with our monthly newsletter (if applicable) and to personalise your shopping experience with us. Zinc uses cookies to allow you to login to your account, maintain a shopping cart and to purchase items in your shopping cart. Cookies sent to your computer from Zinc only last while you’re browsing our website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer. Cookies also allow us to give you a more personalised shopping experience by displaying products that interest you throughout our product pages, thus providing you with a more friendly, interesting and enjoyable shopping experience. Whenever you use our web site, or any other web site, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the Web server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your Internet browser. The unique network address of your computer is called its “IP address,” and is sent automatically each time you access any Internet site. From a computer’s IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer but otherwise it is anonymous. We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site except where you have specifically provided us with information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes. An example of this would be when proceeding to a checkout to finalise an order you may wish to make. After completing the form provided, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows us to track your order.

Security Policy When purchasing from Zinc your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128- bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology.128-bit SSL encryption is the current industry standard. Product Returns & Repairs

Zinc will refund a purchased item in the case of the goods being defective or an incorrect shipment. Proof of purchase is required. Please use the e-mail sent to you at the time of order.

When returning an item it must be packed safely for the return transport, with a copy of the proof of purchase and clearly marked as follows:

We will organise and ship the faulty item at our expense*. We will determine the most appropriate method of returning the goods on a case by case basis.

* We will incur all shipping costs if the item is deemed to be faulty – we will not cover shipping costs for items which are broken or damaged due to mistreatment or harsh wear.

We will assess the goods when they are received and either replace with the same style, colour and size or exchanged for another item (any difference in price to either be credited or charged accordingly) or a refund offered. (Please note that refunds can only be issued to the credit card on which the item was originally purchased)



Zinc is happy to exchange all purchased items within 7 days of the purchase being made, proof of purchase is required. You may exchange the item for another or have a credit note issued. This credit note is valid for 3 months from date of issue.



Can I return an item due to change of mind?
If the item is returned (within 7 days of you receiving it) with proof of purchase we are happy to exchange it or issue a credit note (vaild for 3 months), however we do not refund due to change of mind. Please see Terms and Conditions for further details.

Is everything in your store sold in your online store?
No. If you have seen something instore that doesn’t appear in our online store please feel free to call us (03 9889 4763) or email (hello@zincshop.com.au) to discuss. Most of the time we will be happy to take over the phone payment and get the goods on their way to you as soon as possible.

How long does delivery take?
Between 2- 7 days for all Australian addresses. (if your purchase has not arrived within 10 days please contact the store)

Out of Stock products.
If an item is out of stock please feel free to call or email the store to discuss when the item is expected to be in stock again.
You may also leave your contact details so we can notify you when the item comes in.

Do you take customer orders?
Yes for most items we are happy to take customer orders (with a 20% deposit required).

Do you layby?
Yes, we do accept layby. However at this point we do not process them directly through the online store, so please phone the store to organise this.
